No, we are very sorry we do not. Unfortunately in this day and age where everyone wants to stay connected we understand that WiFi seems like a necessity. And, if we had it, we would gladly share it. We are just too far away to get it though.
However....we do have cell service, so if you have a data plan, you will be able to use your own data.
No, sorry! Imagine! No TV and no WiFi? What do people do LOL?!
We do have a TV in our main lodge for guests who can't miss their show, or have a big game they want to see. Other than that, we have games and cards you can bring to your room, and everyone loves a good book! Trust us, at the end of the day after being in the Island air, you will have no problems sleeping ;-)
Yes! With the exception of Motel Rooms 1,2&3 all of our units are Pet Friendly. There is a one time fee of $25 per unit. We do have rules to follow to ensure all guests are comfortable though.
No excessive noise, or they will be asked to leave without a refund
Pets must be kept on lead (exceptions allowed depending on guests and location)
Pets are not to be left unattended in the cottage unless crated. (Again, no excessive noise)
No pets allowed on furniture.
Excessive cleaning of the unit due to pet hair, will incur an additional Pet Fee charge.
We love animals here, and hope that when you bring your pet you respect that not everyone loves them like we do. So just be respectful of other people, and most of the time, there hs never been an issue :-)
Fishing in Lake Manitou and around Manitoulin is great! Like other places, what you will catch varies depending on the time of year, and where you are fishing. You are welcome to bring your own fishing gear and fish right from the dock, in a canoe or form a paddle boat. (Takes some talent to so this though lol) Or explore other areas on the Island to fish.
There are fishing charters here on Manitoulin that you can google and they are extremely fun to go out with.
Unfortunately we do not have boats for rent, nor do we have a boat launch. But, you are welcome to rent from someone on the Island or bring your own boat and use our Harbour free of charge to keep it in. There are a few places on the Lake that you can launch from, and then boat back over.
Yes! We do rent our whole resort for events. Pricing starts at $1800/night for all 15 units. Feel free to contact us for more information. (Minimum of 2 nights)
Most definitely! We have hosted many weddings over the years here at Red Lodge. To have a wedding though, you must rent the whole resort for a minimum of 2 nights.
Feel free to contact us for more information and available dates.
